PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF GIFTED AND TALENTED STUDENT REFERRAL

Referrals accepted from parents, teachers, and community members: September through November and January through March

CBISD is now accepting referrals for students who may need Gifted and Talented Services for the school year. This program is designed for students who exhibit intellectual and creative thinking abilities at an extraordinary level not normally served in the regular classroom. Services are provided only upon identification of education needs of the student. Anyone wishing to refer to a student attending CBISD in Kindergarten through twelfth grade this school year is asked to go by the student’s campus office and request a copy of the referral form. This form must be returned to the school's office. Those unable to go by the school should call (979) 345-5147, or the students’ regular school campus, and request a form be sent to them.

CBISD ahora está aceptando referencias para estudiantes que puedan necesitar servicios para estudiantes dotados y talentosos para el año escolar. Este programa está diseñado para estudiantes que exhiben habilidades de pensamiento intelectual y creativo a un nivel extraordinario que normalmente no se atiende en el aula regular. Los servicios se brindan solo al identificar las necesidades educativas del estudiante. Cualquier persona que desee referirse a un estudiante que asiste a CBISD desde el jardín de infantes hasta el duodécimo grado este año escolar debe ir a la oficina del campus del estudiante y solicitar una copia del formulario de referencia. Este formulario debe ser devuelto a la oficina de la escuela. Aquellos que no puedan ir a la escuela deben llamar al (979) 345-5147, o al campus de la escuela regular de los estudiantes, y solicitar que se les envíe un formulario.
