Welcome to Computer Literacy at WCJH!
 I am glad to be here and I am glad that you are here too! J

What we will learn:
Keyboarding—TOUCH typing, with emphasis on technique, accuracy, & speed.
Windows Operating System—Using your computer the RIGHT way!
Applications—Word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Hardware—computer, keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, camera.
Internet—Terminology, correct searching strategies, plus lots of other cool stuff! 

Materials needed:
You will need a FOLDER (paper or 3-ring binder) with pockets and brads to store all handouts/printouts.  Bring the folder to class every day, along with a pen OR pencil. 

Absences:
You MUST come to tutorials BEFORE or AFTER SCHOOL once for each class period that you miss (including classes missed while with the nurse, principal, school activities, etc.) within 3 days of the absence.  You must make-up the work that you missed in class.  This is very important, as almost 100 percent of your work and practice is done IN CLASS!

Tutorial times:  7- 7:25  &  2:35-3:15 M-TH.

teachers, classes, principals...some
chose LUNCH!  Be prepared to laugh
and remember, these are 8th graders
looking forward to summer! This was only
their 2nd web project and I am very
proud of them.
