West Columbia Junior High choir

We have two choirs here at the junior high:
The tenor-bass choir is made up of male singers and meets every day during first period.
The treble choir is made up of female singers and meets every day during second period.

Both choirs will participate in competitions and contests throughout the year. Some of these allow students
to competeindividually as well as in a large group. We will be performing a musical in the spring as well as
doing a Pop Show and a music festival at Astroworld. The choir also plays a big role in helping the
high school choir with their annual Madrigal Dinner in December.

Some important dates coming up:

October 11- Fall Concert at the High school

October 15 – Car wash at Jiffy Lube to raise money for our trip

November 12 – Junior High Region Auditions

November 18 and 19 – Junior High and High School Region Choir and Clinic
