Dear
WCE Families,
Welcome back to another great school year at West Columbia
Elementary. I’m thrilled to be back this year and look forward
to another successful school year. Teachers have already been
working preparing lessons, materials and classrooms. Their
dedication and willingness to do “whatever it takes” to make sure
that each child succeeds is inspiring. Of course, being a
parent is the most important role anyone can have. You are
your child’s first and most crucial teacher. If education is a
priority for you, so it will be for your child.
We
are proud of what we do at West Columbia Elementary. With your
continued encouragement and support, I’m sure that your child will
be successful in his/her academic and social growth.
Our scholar population continues to grow and we are keeping a close
eye on growing numbers in some grade levels. Class lists will
be posted on Meet the Teacher night. However, there are occasions when we do have to
make last minute adjustments to balance classroom sections. You will
receive a packet of information on the 1st day of school.
There are several important forms for you to complete, sign and
return to school as soon as possible.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or
