Columbia Elementary has implemented a special incentive program to
encourage great behavior. We call it GOTCHA. When scholars are “caught being
good” or going above and beyond for someone else, they can be given a GOTCHA ticket.
All adults at WCE have these tickets to award for great behavior. Then scholars
put their names on them and deposit them into special tubs for a weekly
drawing. Two scholars in each grade level are awarded special prizes. This
program is sponsored by the PBS (Positive Behavior Support) Team which works to
improve behavior in all areas of our campus.
