Mrs. Able

Although in my first year at WBJH, I bring 20 years of teaching experience: 10 in public schools & 10 at home teaching my three children. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in education.  I love sharing my passion for learning with the students, and look forward to a great year of discovery with the 8^th grade Accelerated Science, regular Science, and Pre-AP students!

Entering into my 4^th year of teaching at WBJH, I teach Pre-AP & 8^th grade Science.  I had 6 years of teaching experience in Pasadena before coming to CBISD & spent 10 years raising 3 wonderful daughters at home.  I am an alumni of the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. I enjoy talking about the fascinating world of science & watching my students realize how it affects their everyday lives & why they need to know “this stuff”!

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Texas State in Biology.  This is my tenth year teaching and my 7^th year at the JH.  I teach 7^th grade science, 7^th grade pre-ap science, and Accelerated Science.  I am the science dept. chair.

This is my first year here at WBJH but my second year teaching science. 
I have a bachelor in Animal Science from Texas A&M - Kingsville.
