Mrs. Bogy:
I
graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Batchelor of Arts of
Teaching degree with a major in Education and a minor in math. I have been
teaching 33 years. Twenty-four of these years have been in CBISD at WCJH
and WBJH. I have always loved kids and my passion to help kids be
successful.
Mrs. Lackey: I
graduated from Schreiner College in 1991 with a
Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and is certified to teach Math and English at
the secondary level. She taught one year at WCJH and then went on to teach high
school English and middle school math and language arts at Danbury ISD for 11
years before returning to WBJH to teach when her son started school. This is
her 17th year to teach.
Mr. Lamb:
I
graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1973 with a B.A. degree. I
went back to the University of Texas at Tyler in 1988 to get the requisites to
get a teaching accreditation. This will make my 15th year to teach at
the junior high and my 18th year of teaching overall.
Mrs. Miska:
I
graduated from Sam Houston State University (Bearkats) with a Batchelor of Arts
in Teaching degree with Physical Education as my major and Math as my minor. I
have been teaching for 27 years – all at WCJH and WBJH. I believe numbers are
“magical” and love sharing this “magic” with my Pre-Algebra, Advanced
Pre-Algebra, and Algebra classes.
Mrs. Boyd:
I graduated from Baylor
and taught school for 6 years before staying home as a foster mom and then
as mom to our own kids. I home-schooled our 5 kids for 19 years. During that
time, I also taught in our home-school coop. and tutored a few students in
math. This last year, I became certified in math and am thrilled to be
teaching math full time now at WBJH.
