The Texas Higher Education
Assessment (THEA) This
Schedule
is administered by the state, six times each year. In Texas, you can find out
if you have the reading, writing, and math skills you need to do college-level
work through the Texas Higher Education
Assessment – or THEA. The THEA Test, which is part of the
Texas Success Initiative,
is required – it is not optional, and is required for first time college
students. Visit the THEA web site and take the THEA practice test
at:
http://www.thea.nesinc.com/practice.htm
For students not wanting to
wait for one of the regular THEA test dates,
Brazosport College offers The Quick THEA
that is administered by the college
before each registration period. Check the
Quick THEA Schedule for a test date to fit your schedule.
