Many
local high schools participate in a dual credit program whereby
students are able to receive college credit and also have that
credit count for high school work. Students should check with their
counselors for information on dual credit opportunities.
Mr. Bob Holcombe is the Brazosport College counselor. He
helps students with post secondary academic decisions and
occupational choices. Students also have the opportunity to
start their college career while in high school.
During the junior
and senior years students can enroll in college courses and earn
college credits while satisfying high school graduation
requirements. Mr. Holcombe is at the high school every
Tuesday and
Wednesday.
