LES DIX SERVICE AWARD
Les Dix is a French term that translates to "the ten". Les Dix Service Award is designed to honor and commend ten outstanding members of the senior class for personal achievements and service during their high school career. These achievements and service may be school, religious, and/or community related. Les Dix Service Award recognizes the individual for total involvement rather than only school-related participations.
Les Dix Service Award selections will be made on the basis of three criteria: grade point average, involvement, and service. To be eligible, the student must have earned a service cord and must have a grade point accumulation of 87 or better. All eligible students who wish to be considered must submit an application. It is important that the application be as clear, concise, and inclusive as possible and that all required materials be turned in by the deadline.
A panel composed of the superintendent, a school board member, the high school principal, and 3 teachers will select this elite body of students. The Ten will be given special recognition at Senior Awards Night and will be featured in The Gusher.
